TIMINGS TO VISIT THE JHILMIL JHEEL CR

Jhilmil Jheel Conservation Reserve, Haridwar is available round the year for visit except heavy rainy days, specially Monsoon. A pre call/enquiry is required while you are visiting during Monsoon to avoid any inconvenience.

Best Time to Visit: October to April is good time to visit.  November – February is best for migrated birds as arrived in Jhilmil Landscape and Ganga river. 

Love to see crocodile, taking sun bath is one of good experience to visitors. January, February may also increase your interest to see the Black Bear as they arrived here. As February ends, migrated bird start departure and nesting season started for some of birds. The whole package required 2-4 nights stay for best results. 

April-June is for best for Elephants, Leopards, Tiger lovers as all come out in open taking bath at water holes, looking for shades, taking rest under tree, water streams etc.
